Patriotic Party: Quick Guide
Whether it is Memorial Day Weekend or July 4th, or even the Olympics, there always seems to be a need for a summer go-to party. That is why I am sharing my suggestions for a stress-free barbecue.
Invitations
Typically these events are a little more casual so no need to spend money on postage, just use Paperless Post like the one below.
Tablescape/Decorations
I like to stick with blue and white as the main colors and then add a touch of red somewhere, otherwise it can get visually overwhelming. Our outdoor cushions are red so when I hosted I didn’t include any red on the table, but in the design I put together for you, I included a little red ribbon to tie around your napkins. Adding little American flags and bunting around your space is an amazing way to make your party festive.
American flags | bunting | placemats | melamine dishes | white napkins | red ribbon (for napkins) | blue wine glasses | hydrangeas
Menu
Break out that grill! If you are not a grill master yet just keep it simple with burgers and hotdogs (or my preference, brats). You can get fancy with the apps, sides, and dessert.

Games/Activities
If it is the fourth of July, either go see fireworks or create your own show, using necessary caution of course!
If you have access to a pool, let everyone cool off there. If you don’t, they have some fun options for blow-up pools at MiniDip or you can be adventurous and get a waterslide! When temperatures are hot, you need some way to cool off.
What to wear
bathing suit | crop top | red and white striped dress | denim dress | blue and white striped set
I hope you enjoy your patriotic party!
