Welcome to Pursuit of Parties ("POP," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using POP, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
POP is a party-planning platform and marketplace that helps hosts plan and execute gatherings from start to finish. The Service includes curated party plans created by independent creators, an AI-powered custom party planner, recipes, grocery lists, decor and fashion recommendations, timelines, guest management tools, seating charts, and educational content through Hosting Academy. Some features are available for purchase; others are free.

Party plans available on POP are created by independent creators and curated by POP. When you purchase a party plan, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use that plan for your own private events. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit purchased plans.
Creators who submit party plans to POP agree to the Creator Program terms, including the commission structure and payout terms. Creators retain ownership of their original content but grant POP a license to host, display, and sell their plans through the Service. Creators are responsible for ensuring their submissions do not infringe third-party rights.
POP recommends decor, fashion, invitation, and vendor partners, and may link to third-party retailers and service providers. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee these third parties or their products. Any purchase or engagement with a third party is solely between you and that party. POP is not liable for third-party products, services, or conduct.
POP offers an AI-powered custom party planner. AI-generated plans, recipes, and recommendations are provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before relying on it — for example, verifying ingredient safety for guests with allergies, confirming cooking times and temperatures, and ensuring decor and venue suitability. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated suggestions.
You may upload content such as guest lists, notes, photos, custom recipes, and Pinterest board links. You retain ownership of your content. By uploading, you grant POP a limited license to host, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not violate these Terms or third-party rights.
The Service, including its design, branding, curated content, and software, is owned by POP and protected by intellectual property laws. "Pursuit of Parties," "POP," and related marks are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding or intellectual property except as needed to use the Service.
You may invite co-hosts to view and edit your party plans and may share invitations with guests. You are responsible for the email addresses you invite and for any content your co-hosts add to shared plans. You may remove co-hosts at any time.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that party plans, recipes, timelines, or recommendations will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your specific event. Food safety, allergy, and venue considerations are your responsibility. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, POP and its creators, partners, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including any issues arising from following recipes, decor suggestions, timelines, or third-party recommendations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though certain content and records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of POP after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which POP operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
