Pursuit of Parties ("POP," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using POP, you agree to the practices described below.

• Account preferences and onboarding details

Party Planning Data

• Purchased and custom party plans
• Guest lists, RSVPs, and dietary notes you enter
• Saved decor items, canvases, and Pinterest board links
• Custom recipes, grocery lists, and timelines

Payment Information

We process payments through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles payment processing securely. We retain records of your purchases (such as which party plans you bought and transaction dates) for your account history.

Usage & Device Data

• Device identifiers and usage analytics to improve the app
• Notification preferences and opt-in choices

Device Permissions & Capabilities

POP may request access to the following device capabilities. Each permission is optional — you can decline any prompt and continue using the app. We only request access when you take an action that requires it:

• Camera & Photo Library — Used when you choose to upload photos, such as images of your decor items, custom party concept images, or Hosting Academy article images. Photos are uploaded to your account and are never accessed without your action.
• Notifications — Used to send you optional reminders including party timeline task reminders, daily hosting tips, holiday reminders, and birthday alerts. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Notification Preferences.

POP does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, health data, or tracking. We do not participate in App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and provide the Service
• To deliver purchased party plans, custom AI-generated plans, and related content
• To send timeline reminders, notifications, and host tips you've opted into
• To process payments and maintain purchase records
• To improve our plans, features, and overall experience
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and updates

3. AI-Powered Features

When you use our AI custom party planner, we send the details you provide (occasion, guest count, budget, Pinterest board link, dietary notes, and other preferences) to our AI provider to generate a personalized party plan. We do not use your personal party data to train external AI models.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help operate POP:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloud & database providers — hosting and data storage
• AI providers — to generate custom party plans
• Email & notification services — to deliver reminders and messages

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or property.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account Settings within the app. Certain records (such as completed purchase history) may be retained as needed for legal, accounting, or tax requirements.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

POP is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry standards.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above.
